Bien Chaussé

The Project

Revised October 22, 2026

I’ve organized this page in three parts: what Bien Chaussé is, who it’s for, then how it works and where its limits lie.

What This Site Is

Bien Chaussé covers one thing: the pickleball shoe. Its mission is to explain, factually, what matters in a pair for this sport: the playing surface, the outsole, the support, the rules of use. The explanations draw on official, scientific and press sources. You won’t find any commercial rankings here.

Who It’s For

French-speaking pickleball players, beginners or experienced, who often came from tennis, padel or badminton. They share one goal: to gear up well and reduce the risk of getting hurt.

How the Work Is Organized

Three habits guide every article:

  • explain the mechanism before making a recommendation;
  • say where the available knowledge ends;
  • point to official sources whenever they exist.

The articles rest on a base of facts about pickleball shoes. Each of those facts is tied to a public source and checked against it before publication. An article’s sources are listed at the end of the text, and the date of the last update appears on every page.

To learn how topics are chosen, how facts are verified and how errors are handled, head to the Notre méthode page.

What the Site Doesn’t Do

  • It gives no personalized advice: its content is general.
  • It publishes no disguised sponsored content.
  • It doesn’t invent fake reviews or testimonials.

Disclaimers

  • The information on this site is general. It doesn't replace the advice of a doctor, a physical therapist or a podiatrist, especially if you have pain, an old injury or a particular foot condition.
  • The site doesn't sell any shoes and doesn't publish paid rankings: the models mentioned are cited for information only.
